Responsibilities
- Provide project management and technical oversight for building envelope, facilities, and roofing projects from initial assessment through completion
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear, professional communication throughout each project
- Perform building enclosure assessments, including roofing, façade, and waterproofing evaluations, litigation support, field testing, and distress investigations
- Conduct and/or oversee field investigations such as moisture intrusion evaluations, non-destructive testing, and fenestration/façade testing
- Support the preparation of design and construction documents for roof replacement, building enclosure rehabilitation, glazing replacement, and related remediation efforts
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in building enclosure and/or roofing consulting
- Strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems, including constructability, integration, durability, thermal performance, and long-term maintenance
- Ability to clearly and professionally communicate technical findings to clients and project teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; technical report writing is a key component of this role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Qualifications
- Preferred Certifications: Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Exterior Wall Observer (REWO), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Certified Infrared Thermographer (CIT)
- Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect
