Building Engineering Lead

About the role

The Building Engineering Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of building engineering within the data center operations team. This includes managing HVAC systems, electrical distribution, fire protection, and other critical infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of building engineering systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Manage the procurement and installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to facility managers and other staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building engineering or a related field.
• Experience with data center operations and facilities management.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for building engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

$100,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
