Building Engineering Lead

About the role

The Building Engineering Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of data center facilities. This individual will ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards, and will work closely with other departments to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of new data center facilities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards
• Work with cross-functional teams to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability practices
• Manage the maintenance and repair of existing data center facilities
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building engineering or facility management
• Experience with LEED certification and sustainable design principles
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with data center infrastructure and operations

Pay

$120,000 - $150,000 annually
