Building Engineer
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
- Maintains and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
- Maintains the building and its related systems.
Qualifications
- Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
- Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $30.00 to $46.74. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
