Building Engineer

Role Overview The Building Engineer is responsible for maintaining and operating building systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and community well-being. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.Respond to service requests, manage work orders, and coordinate with vendors to complete tasks.Maintain accurate records, manage building management systems, and ensure a clean, safe environment.Assist with parts and supplies procurement and follow safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills 3-5 years of experience in commercial building systems maintenance.Strong mechanical skills, especially with HVAC equipment.Proficiency in troubleshooting, operating, and repairing building systems.Basic technology skills, including work order management and building automation systems.High school diploma or equivalent, with effective communication skills.Must hold a CFC Universal certification, be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs., walking, kneeling, and climbing ladders, and have reliable transportation.
