Building Engineer

CAMCO is seeking an experienced Building Engineer to oversee the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems of a high-rise residential/commercial building in Center City, Philadelphia.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership position that combines technical expertise with team supervision, vendor management, and close collaboration with CAMCO management staff. The Building Engineer serves as a senior on-site technical authority, leading the building's engineering and maintenance staff, managing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the property operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for a high-rise property
• Coordinate contractors and supervise maintenance personnel
• Lead preventive maintenance programs
• Ensure efficient operation and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems
• Deliver exceptional service to residents and the Association
• Maintain compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards

Pay

$35 - $45 hourly
