Building Designer
About You
You must be able to work in Australia (unrestricted working rights) and have completed an Advanced Diploma in Building Design. You want to work with a friendly, fun & proactive team but don’t want to be boxed in either. You’re willing to go the extra mile, are energetic, enthusiastic, and possess a happy “can do” attitude. You can work well on your own and are a respected team player. You have a sense of humour, don’t take yourself too seriously, but understand the importance of the role and our clients. You possess the desire for team success and are willing to contribute to business growth with lead generation, new clients, and diversification.
Responsibilities & Requirements
If you have 4-5 years’ experience, we’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in AutoCAD &/or Revit; BCA & ResCode
- Able to produce high-quality, accurate designs, plans, reports, and documentation for planning &/or building permits
- Brings a balance of technical know-how and creativity
- Appreciates and follows proven systems and processes; willingness to contribute to their enhancement
- Self-checks your work for accuracy and thoroughness
- Able to prioritise tasks to meet agreed deadlines
- Excellent communicator
- Thinks laterally (pun intended)
Landscape design experience would be an advantage.
