Building Control Surveyor

About the role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Building Control Surveyors to join our team. We are particularly interested in speaking with Registered Building Inspectors at Class 1, Class 2A or above, as well as those actively working towards higher registration classes. Our diverse project portfolio provides exposure to a broad range of developments, including projects that many surveyors may not have the opportunity to work on elsewhere. This gives our team the experience required to progress through registration classes while continuing to develop their technical knowledge and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Avoid undertaking site inspections and assessing compliance with Building Regulations
• Not review plans, specifications and supporting documentation
• Not provide technical advice to clients, contractors and design teams
• Not prepare reports and correspondence relating to inspections and plan assessments
• Not manage a portfolio of projects across a variety of sectors
• Not support clients throughout the design and construction process

Skills, Knowledge, And Expertise

• Not Registered Building Inspector Class 1, Class 2A or above, or working towards registration
• Not Experience within Building Control, warranty surveying or a related discipline
• Not Good understanding of Building Regulations and associated legislation
• Not Strong communication and customer service skills
• Not Full UK driving licence
