Building & Code Compliance Inspector

Performing Inspections

• Third party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections
• Inspections of foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing and related construction activity
• Plan reviews and determination of if permitted design plans require revisions and recommendations to contractors, engineers and/or architect
• Preparation and submission of daily time and Inspection/Field Reports in accordance with ECS Policy

Client Interaction and Business Development

• Maintain and develop client interactions
• Participate in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections

Safety and Compliance

• Follow ECS safety procedures and policies
• High school diploma or GED required
• 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
• NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required
• Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications and Certifications

• Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work.

Driving Requirements

• If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
