About the role
We are looking for entry-level candidates who are interested in learning the Carpentry and Concrete trades. Trainees will support all phases of carpentry and concrete construction from site preparation to finishing. This role involves physically demanding work, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions to ensure structures are built safely and accurately. Trainees will gain hands-on experience working on projects throughout South Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities
- Use various hand and power tools
- Operate power tools and equipment in compliance with Kinsley’s safety policies and procedures
- Assist crew as needed
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Help with demolition, excavation, and site cleanup
- Follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols
- Stand, bend, kneel, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Follow blueprints and building plans
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required
Requirements
- Previous experience/exposure in carpentry or concrete is preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Comfortable working long hours standing, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Understanding of measurements, leveling, and basic math
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or early mornings depending on project needs
