About the Role
The Carpenter is responsible for building, erecting, and dismantling formwork and structures in concrete construction, including layout, measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing forms per project specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks such as site clean-up and material handling.
- Operate motorized equipment and hand tools like power saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
- Assist in pouring vertical concrete and installing reshores.
- Learn and support vertical installations, framing, decking, and material identification.
- Read tape measures and work in various weather conditions involving noise, dust, heat, or cold.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
- Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
- Experience with hand and power tools; preference for 12+ months of formwork/concrete experience.
- Optional: 30-hour OSHA certification.
