Building Based Substitute Teacher(s)

About the role

Will report as a permanent building substitute at Wilson Elementary School and take over the daily duties and responsibilities of a classroom teacher. Can be assigned at the discretion of the building Administrator to any classroom and any teacher-related job duty.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with personal computer, Chromebooks and instructional equipment
• Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques
• Demonstrated ability to reach all types of learners
• The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
• Evidence of effective classroom management skills with age-appropriate experiences
• Excellent communication skills; approachable, friendly and available
• Current New York State Teaching Certification (Preferred)

Pay

$140/day for Certified Teachers
$120/day for Uncertified

Schedule

Full time, Per Diem
