What You'll Do
- Design Building Automation (BAS/DDC) systems for commercial HVAC applications.
- Develop control sequences, point lists, network architecture, and system drawings.
- Engineer control solutions for AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, heat pumps, and central plant equipment.
- Generate submittals, panel layouts, and project documentation.
- Review mechanical plans and specifications to ensure accurate system design.
- Cook up with engineering, operations, and field teams throughout project execution.
- Support system integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and other open protocols.
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing or engineering commercial Building Automation or HVAC Controls systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, DDC controls, and control strategies.
- Experience with one or more BAS platforms including Tridium Niagara, Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys, Distech, Delta Controls, Reliable Controls, Honeywell, Alerton, or Automated Logic (WebCTRL).
- Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and networked control systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
