About the role

The Building Automation System Specialist III is responsible for overseeing and maintaining complex building automation systems. This includes diagnosing and resolving system failures, ensuring energy efficiency, and implementing new technologies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain complex building automation systems
• Diagnose and resolve system failures
• Ensure energy efficiency through system optimization
• Implement new technologies and upgrades to existing systems
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of building systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building automation systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java
• Experience with building management systems (BMS) and HVAC controls
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building automation standards and protocols
• Experience with building energy management systems (BEMS)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
