About the role
The Building Automation System (BAS) Administrator is responsible for proactively monitoring and servicing the BAS system, maintaining optimal uptime, and collaborating with the BAS team and skilled trades to improve operational effectiveness.Responsibilities
- Maintain BAS systems
- Develop Long and short-term schedules and forecasts to maintain and improve building systems and assets
- Provide input and collaborate with skilled trades and BAS team
- Work with management, planners, and engineers to project skilled trades manpower and workload
- Aid in improving workforce efficiencies, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
- Focus on continuous improvement and innovation as a way of life
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Information/Computer Sciences, or related fields or 5 years of experience in facilities management, building automation system design and/or maintenance systems or programming with HS Diploma/GED
- Good oral and written communication skills are important
- Provide examples of leadership skills and decision making
- Familiarity with preventive and proactive maintenance concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Engineering, Information/Computer Engineering or related fields
- Sstellantis Industrial Systems (SIS), or related continuous improvement process, experience is a plus
- Facilities Management certifications and/or Energy Management accreditations
