Building Automation Specialist II

About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining building automation systems. Works closely with facility managers to ensure efficient operation of HVAC, lighting, and security systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement building automation systems
• Install and commission new systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems
• Provide technical support to facility staff
• Conduct regular system audits and maintenance checks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building automation systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or similar
• Experience with building management systems (BMS)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Pass a background check

Skills

• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and other building automation protocols
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Good understanding of electrical principles and safety practices

Pay

• $80,000 - $90,000 annually
