About the role
The Building Automation Control Technician oversees the operation and maintenance of building automation systems, focusing on HVAC controls. This role involves managing temperature, humidity, and air quality systems using a variety of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and adjust settings for HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to building automation systems, including troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning equipment.
- Provide technical support to facility managers and other staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and adhere to industry standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in Electronics preferred but not required.
- Five years of experience in electronics, with two years specifically in computerized building automation systems.
- Outstanding customer service skills to uphold CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
- Experience with building automation control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
