Building Automation Controls Engineer

Salary Grade: Grade 48. Expected hiring range: $72,000 – $79,000. Final salary will be set based on departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and internal pay comparison.

About the role

The BAS Controls Engineer (BACE) maintains a comfortable and safe environment through the management of the Building Automation System (BAS), lighting control systems, and monitoring-based commissioning systems. The BAS Controls Engineer serves as the campus subject-matter expert for Building Automation Systems, which are implemented in every major construction project at BU. The BACE collaborates with Union Technicians and other subject-matter experts to resolve technical issues related to BAS, HVAC, or lighting control systems.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5–8 years of relevant work experience

Pay

Minimum $72,000. Maximum $79,000 (hiring range).
