Building Automation and Controls Engineer (LSNA-PA)

We're looking for a Building Automation and Controls Engineer in Conshohocken, PA to work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business, including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities.
You’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead, and produce Building Automation System (BAS) designs for HVAC and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
- Deliver BAS designs for HVAC and mechanical systems in a multi-discipline, highly interactive team environment.
- Ensure schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
- Provide on-site assistance during startup and commissioning.
- Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- Work with DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Develop and review AF&IDs, P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, I/O Lists, and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience working with Building Automation and HVAC Systems.
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Experience with AF&IDs, P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, I/O Lists, and general/technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications
- Background in HVAC and Mechanical systems.
- AUTOCAD experience.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $185,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Hybrid working policy allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
