Building Aid & Substitute Teacher

About the role

St. Peter Faber Academy is seeking a Building Aid & Substitute Teacher to support the daily operations of the school.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, transitions
• Provide support for students individually or in small groups under teacher direction
• Assist with preparation of classroom materials
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe school environment
• Support office staff and school-wide events as needed
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students, staff, and school matters

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• At least 3 years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
• Excellent writing and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems

Qualifications
