About the role
The Builder Escrow Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, MO, responsible for managing builder-related escrow files from opening through closing.
Responsibilities
- Setting up new escrow accounts
- Reviewing purchase agreements and closing instructions
- Coordinating with builders, buyers, lenders, and internal staff to ensure all required documents and funds are collected
- Preparing settlement statements
- Organizing and scheduling closings
- Managing disbursements
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Responding to inquiries and providing clear status updates
- Supporting a smooth closing experience through proactive communication and strong customer service
Qualifications
- Experience with escrow processes and builder or real estate transactions
- Ability to manage escrow accounts and related documentation
- Knowledge of closing procedures, settlement statements, and funding/disbursement activities in a title or real estate environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with builders, buyers, lenders, and internal teams
- Notary commission or eligibility to become a Notary Public, with attention to compliance and proper document execution
- High level of accuracy, organization, and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple files and deadlines
- Proficiency with office software and title/escrow systems

Preferred qualifications
