Title: Builder Company: Global Power Components – www.globalpowercomponents.com Location: Milwaukee, WI (onsite 5-days/week) Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months) 1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT 2nd Shift: 4pm – 12:30am CT (Monday to Friday) – eligible for OT Overview Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. We are seeking Enclosure Builders to work in our Enclosure department to assist in the building of steel/metal enclosures. Responsibilities Working as a team to construct steel/metal enclosures (large metal housing units)Installing walls, floors, ceilings and roofsMounting louvers, doors and various electrical equipment Requirements Knowledge of materials, methods, and hand/power tools involved in constructionAble to read measuring devices, such as tape measureAble to read blueprintsAble to troubleshoot and problem solveMust be highly motivatedAble to communicate and work well with othersPay attention to details and have a strong drive to succeedMust pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
