Job Summary

A Builder repairs and assembles cabinets with quality or material issues to pass inspection using various tools and fixtures.

Essential Functions

  • Use of pneumatic equipment, power, and hand tools; hot melt glue, jigs, and other equipment to assemble cabinets and/or install missing components of cabinets to specifications
  • Check components and assembled cabinets for quality standards and assemble packing trays
  • Use computer programs in various aspects in building and repair of cabinets to specifications
  • Accurately interpret production labels and data in various computer systems

Qualifications

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances; Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
  • Required Education And Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Required Physical Ability: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time; Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing; Regularly lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
