Responsibilities
- Exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
- Perform any and all duties as assigned by your supervisor or a member of management.
- Operate cash register, accounting for all monies, coupons, comps, and receipts at the end of shift.
- Remain current on all coupons, promotions, and certificates applicable to Food and Beverage outlets.
- Use the front-line checklist to restock inventory as needed.
- Track and assign seats in accordance with established procedures.
- Stand for a full shift and maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
- Perform assigned cleaning and general maintenance tasks.
- Report issues and/or guest complaints to leadership.
- Serve as an ambassador for all Food and Beverage outlets, promoting superior customer service.
- Ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise.
- Report potential regulatory compliance issues to management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior food handling, cashier, and/or attendant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of proper food holding temperatures, temperature danger zones, and proper use of cleaning chemicals preferred but not required.
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as scheduled.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to present proper phone etiquette.
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Physical Demands
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in varying work areas, including confined spaces.
