Buffet Attendant - Part Time

Organization – Grand Hyatt Deer Valley

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is located in the famed Deer Valley ski resort, about 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. The property is part of a new development that will include 17 ski lifts, approximately 1,600 residential units, eight hotels with a total of about 1,350 rooms, roughly 250,000 sq ft of conference and retail space, and one of the world’s largest “ski beaches.” The Grand Hyatt comprises 436 luxury accommodations (381 guest rooms and 55 residential units) and offers 30,000 sq ft of versatile indoor meeting space, a lobby‑level three‑meal restaurant and bar, a signature bar, pool/après‑ski bar and grill, coffee bistro, large outdoor event terrace, pool with three whirlpools, kids club, and fitness area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the buffet area, including flatware, plates, and surfaces, by wiping up spills and spatters.
• Replenish hot food items promptly to avoid shortages.
• Engage with guests, discuss food options, and answer questions in a friendly, prepared manner.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Availability to work weekends.
• Current alcohol server certification and/or food‑service permit as required by local or state authorities.
• Any additional food‑service or related certifications required by jurisdiction.
