Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive financial management program that involves both short and long-range programmatic plans and annual budget.
- Researching legal, regulatory, program, and budgetary information.
- Preparing annual administrative budgets and operating plans.
- Advising management on the planning and development of budget requirements.
- Making sure that obligations and expenditures are monitored and tracked for the office.
- Managing the certifications of obligations of goods and services.
- Providing information based on the products of the financial management system.
- Overseeing the processing of travel authorizations and travel vouchers/claims.
- Providing a wide variety of budgetary reports.
