About the role

Responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models, preparing detailed budget reports, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. Conducts cost-benefit analyses and prepares justifications for budget requests. Works closely with senior management and other departments to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in budget analysis and financial management
• Security clearance required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Experience with financial modeling software such as Cognos, Hyperion, or SAP
• Knowledge of federal budgeting processes and government accounting standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, and VBA
• Strong understanding of financial principles and concepts
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
