Budget Analyst (5683) with Security Clearance

Position Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of financial plans, budgets, and cost estimates for programs and projects
• Support the preparation of cost estimates, projections, and rough order of magnitude analyses
• Track and manage financial documentation, agreements, and approval processes
• Maintain accurate financial records, including tracking funding, obligations, and expenditures
• Reconcile financial data and identify discrepancies or areas requiring attention
• Support the development and maintenance of program budgets and financial forecasts
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to support cost-effective decision-making
• Review contracts, financial systems, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on financial status and funding requirements
• Aid in the estimation of costs for ongoing and future program activities
• Support workforce and resource planning through financial analysis and projections
• Track and analyze planned versus actual expenditures and resource utilization
• Identify potential financial risks and provide recommendations to leadership
• Aid in audits by maintaining accurate documentation and financial records

Position Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Must possess an active SECRET clearance or above
• Must be able to pass Agency background check
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience or advanced degree/certificate
