Budget Analyst III - Secret Cleared

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of types of funds, status of funds, appropriation lines, and funding authority.
• Provide budget analysis for all phases of the budgetary process, including formulation, justification, presentation, enactment and/or execution.
• Analyze financial and historical data trends to engage in financial due diligence reporting on programs and projects commitment, obligation, costs, and workforce status for planned DS objectives.

Qualifications

• Education Required: BS/BA or higher – applicable major preferred
• 3-7 years of accounting, budgeting, or other relevant financial experience

Work Environment

• This position is fully on-site.
• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
• The core working hours are 9 AM – 3 PM Monday through Friday.
• Employees will take a mandatory meal break to cover a minimum of 30 minutes.
• Manager may grant variance depending on client (government or prime contractor) flow-down specifications, upon employer application.
