Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and maintenance of the annual operating budget.
- Review and input department budgets for accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
- Maintain and reconcile budget systems, general ledger data, and position control reporting systems.
- Prepare financial analyses, variance analyses, trend reports, financial projections, and ad hoc reports.
- Support monthly close reporting and distribute analytical reports to hospital leadership.
- Maintain budget-related databases and reporting structures.
- Provide guidance and support to department managers regarding budget processes and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced budget reporting practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in budget analysis, financial reporting, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Experience with budgetary systems and databases preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Schedule
Full-time Primarily remote with quarterly in-person meetings.
