Buckeye Lake: Maintenance Team Lead

About the role

As the Maintenance Team Lead, you'll be responsible for the overall upkeep and safety of our campground. You'll supervise and mentor a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring all facilities, utilities, and equipment are operating efficiently and safely. You'll address maintenance needs, conduct regular inspections, and tackle unexpected challenges with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Team: Supervise and mentor our Maintenance & Safety Team Members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Keep it Running: Perform repairs and maintenance on campground buildings, facilities, and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Stay Ahead of the Game: Implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the long-term functionality and safety of our facilities.
• Safety First: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal regulations.
• Guest-Focused: Greet guests with a friendly attitude and assist with any facility-related needs.
• Be a Problem Solver: Proactively identify and address potential hazards and maintenance issues.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience with landscaping and groundskeeping (bonus)
• Knowledge of pool and spa maintenance (bonus)
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification (bonus)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance frequently with long periods of standing.
• Able to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and move safely over wet or rocky terrain.
• Able to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors and in various weather conditions.

Pay

The pay range for this role is: 17 - 18 USD per hour (Buckeye Lake).
