Contract details

Physical location: Fairfax Site, Kansas City. Type of contract: Long-term at-will.

Responsibilities

• Applies and promotes application of HSE and quality policies and procedures, including PLC, robot, and HMI program risk analysis and HSE validation follow-up.
• Supports operations in case of major or new issues on assembly processes/equipment, including automation audit on equipment/cell, supplier robotic/PLC/HMI program modification, and robot/automation program adjustment during tuning phase, retrofit, or re-use.
• Participates in operations productivity workshops.
• Validates technical feasibility of robotics aspects and participates in design for manufacturing for customer/industrial projects.
• Supports definition of equipment specifications and supplier sourcing.
• Supports validation and commissioning of robotized applications following robotic equipment standards (functional analysis, validation plan, project report, etc.).
• Ensures methodological and technical standards are applied across all projects.
• Consolidates lessons learned from projects into métier best practices and standards.
• Contributes to robotic network activities linked to central roadmap.
• Participates in definition of technical standards and industrializes validated solutions.

Requirements

• Engineering Technician with experience or Engineering Master's degree in Automatism and Robotics.
• 2–3 years of experience in assembly field in a plant, equipment supplier, or automotive Tier 1 supplier as assembly equipment project manager.
• Advanced experience in robotics and automatism.
