BT/RBT Registered Behavioral Technician
About the role
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Akoya Behavioral Health, you will work 1:1 with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help them build essential communication, social, play, and life skills. No prior ABA experience is required; comprehensive training, RBT certification, and ongoing mentoring are provided.
Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with children with autism following individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA.
- Help children develop communication, social, play, and life skills.
- Accurately track data and progress in real‑time.
- Provide support in both structured settings and natural environments.
- Partner with parents and caregivers to reinforce skills at home.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing clinical training.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working with children and making a lasting impact.
- Detail‑oriented, dependable, and eager to learn.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and complete RBT onboarding.
- Bonus: Experience in ABA, education, childcare, or psychology‑related fields.

Pay
Competitive hourly rate of $18–$23, based on experience and location.
Schedule
Flexible schedules: choose from morning, afternoon, or early evening shifts. Full‑time and part‑time roles available (minimum 15 hours/week).
