BSG Business Analyst

Analyst$73k–$93k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Remove boilerplate, navigation, EEO, etc. Keep all substantive info. Let's parse the posting. First part: "Note: Please note you must be permanent in the Civil Service Title Staff Analyst to be considered for an interview." That's a note about eligibility. Might be part of Requirements? It's a requirement: must be permanent in Civil Service Title Staff Analyst. Then description of DEP, BCS, Business Services Group, etc. That's about the role/overview. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About the department". We'll put as "About the role". Then "Responsibilities" section with bullet list. Then "Preferred Skills And Experience" bullet list. Then "DEP (NYC Environmental) Bureau of Customer Services Experience" maybe part of Preferred Skills? Actually it's a line: "DEP (NYC Environmental) Bureau of Customer Services Experience". Might be a required experience? It appears under Preferred Skills And Experience? Actually after "Preferred Skills And Experience" they list bullet points, then line "DEP (NYC Environmental) Bureau of Customer Services Experience". Then "To Apply" etc (application instructions) which we remove. Then "Hours/Shift 35 hours per week" -> schedule. "Work Location: Lefrak Building 59-17 Junction Blvd. 7th Floor Flushing, N.Y. 11373" -> location (maybe not a section; we could include under About the role or maybe as a separate section? Not in list of allowed headings; we could embed in About the role paragraph. "Appointments are subject to OMB approval" maybe minor metadata; could be omitted or placed in a short p. "For Additional Information About DEP Visit Us At Www.dep.nyc.gov" maybe boilerplate; remove. "Recruitment contact: Grace Pigott Recruitment Email: recruit@dep.nyc.gov" maybe minor metadata; could be short p. "STAFF ANALYST - 12626" maybe job ID; drop. "Minimum Qualifications" then list of education/experience combos. That's qualifications. "Preferred Skills" again bullet list (duplicate). We'll combine. "55a Program" note about disability program; maybe include under Benefits? It's a program; could be a note but not benefit. Might be considered as a note; but we can include under Benefits? Not exactly benefit. Could be omitted? It's substantive info about eligibility for 55-a Program. Could be placed under Requirements? Might be a note. I'd include as a short p under Requirements or maybe under Benefits? The instruction: include section only when posting has real specific content. 55a Program is specific content. Could be its own section? Not in allowed headings. Could be placed under Requirements as a note. "Public Service Loan Forgiveness" info about loan forgiveness; could be under Benefits? It's a benefit. So we can include under Benefits. "Residency Requirement" info about NYC residency; could be under Requirements? It's a requirement. Could be under Requirements. "Additional Information" EEO boilerplate; remove. Then at end: ", $72,595.00 – $92,976.00" seems to be salary range (Pay). So we need Pay section. Thus sections: - About the role (overview of DEP, BCS, Business Services Group, role purpose) - Responsibilities (bullet list) - Requirements (must be permanent in Civil Service Title Staff Analyst, residency requirement, maybe 55a program note? Actually 55a program is about eligibility for disabled persons; could be a note under Requirements or Benefits. I'd put under Requirements as a note.) - Qualifications (minimum qualifications education/experience combos) - Skills (preferred skills bullet list) - Benefits (Public Service Loan Forgiveness, maybe 55a Program? Actually 55a Program is a program for disabled persons; could be considered a benefit/accommodation. Could include under Benefits.) - Pay (salary range) - Schedule (35 hours per week) We should not include Work Location as separate heading; we can embed in About the role paragraph. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, navigation, cookie, legal, scam-warning, duplicated lines. We must preserve all substantive information. Let's extract substantive content. About the role: The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) enriches the environment and protects public health for all New Yorkers by providing 1.1 billion gallons of high-quality drinking water, managing wastewater and stormwater, and reducing air, noise, and hazardous materials pollution. The Bureau of Customer Services (BCS) oversees the production and collection of water and wastewater bills along with all the work required to maintain our citywide network of meters and meter reading devices. Bureau of Customer Services serves approximately 836,000 customers and collects over $4.5 billion in revenue each year. The Business Services Group within Bureau of Customer Services is responsible for maintaining and enhancing DEP’s UMAX (Customer Information Billing System) as it relates to the needs of the bureau. The Business Services Group is also responsible for championing process improvement initiatives, developing and training staff on business operating procedures, and supporting the Bureau of Customer Services leadership team with analytics, knowledge and resources to support excellent customer service. Business Services Group is currently seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Business Analyst within the Business Services Group. That's about the role. For more information, please visit the U.S. Department of Education’s website at https://studentaid.gov/pslf/. - 55a Program (maybe already listed under Requirements; but we can keep under Benefits as a note about accommodation). However to avoid duplication, we could keep only under Requirements. But the instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. If we put it only under Requirements, it's still preserved. So we can keep it there and not duplicate under Benefits. Benefits then only Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Pay: - $72,595.00 – $92,976.00 (salary range) Schedule: - 35 hours per week. We also have "Hours/Shift 35 hours per week". So schedule. Now produce HTML. Structure:
