Responsibilities
- Monitor the Bank’s BSA program and ensure adherence to BSA, AML, and CIP policies
- Review new customers for CIP requirements and communicate missing or incomplete requirements to the retail and lending departments
- Review and complete Customer Due Diligence (CDD) questionnaires and communicate updates needed to the retail department
- Assist with Currency Transaction Reporting
- Review and certify OFAC reports and alerts
- Communicate with the retail department to ensure accurate and timely report filing and address any BSA deficiencies
Requirements
- Comply with applicable bank regulations, including those governing disclosures, currency transactions, purchase of negotiable instruments, and money laundering (BSA, AML)
- Participate in annual compliance and other job-related training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of banking experience
Skills
- Knowledge of BSA/AML compliance
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Interact with all levels of staff and management
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel
Working Conditions
- Traditional office environment with ability to work remotely on a hybrid basis
- Operational hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
