Job Qualifications

  • A high degree of professionalism and work ethic; polished.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, dependability, and the ability to communicate with all levels in the department.
  • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in standard banking concepts, practices, and procedures regarding bank compliance.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and develop solid judgement.
  • Knowledge of when to refer to a supervisor or senior staff when issues need escalation.
  • Skilled in research and problem resolution.
  • Ability to understand banking related regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze banking activities and characteristics to assess potential risk.

Education Or Formal Training

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • An associate’s degree in finance, accounting, business or similar field preferred.
  • BSA/AML certification preferred or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Experience

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of working with regulatory documents preferably in a financial or banking environment.

Working Conditions

  • This job operates in a professional office environment, that may have a hybrid schedule to include in-office and remote work on select days but may change at management discretion.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and multifunction printers.
  • Travel to conferences, meetings and branch locations may be required on occasion.
  • These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Good eyesight and hand/finger dexterity are required.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional with intense conversations.
  • Employee may have to lift up to 25 pounds.

Starting Rate of Pay

Starting Rate of Pay is between $24.00 and $29.00 per hour, depending on experience.
