Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate street sweepers, power brooms, or vacuum trucks to clean assigned areas
- Remove dirt, debris, leaves, and other materials from streets, parking lots, and worksites
- Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of sweeping equipment
- Report mechanical issues or needed repairs promptly
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Use proper disposal methods for collected waste materials
- Maintain accurate logs of work completed, fuel usage, and equipment condition
- Auxiliary duties may include assisting with site cleanup on construction or municipal projects when needed
- Operate machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely
Qualifications
- (3)+ years of relevant, proven, experience operating construction equipment and total station leveling systems
- National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Certification is preferred
