Essential Job Functions

• Place chicks, pre-feed, and feed chickens.
• Remove dead animals (DOA’s), level drinkers, and track/pan feeders.
• Hook up track feeder systems, lubricate equipment, relocate fans, and maintain ranch appearance.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Dependable transportation to work across various ranches.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in groups.
• Groundwork skills as needed.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions from crew leaders, supervisors, and management.
• Compliance with safety and company standards.
• Able to take ownership and initiative in promoting career advancement.

Pay, Schedule, Benefits

The pay rate is $17.75 per hour, with additional rates for night and early morning shifts. Flexible scheduling is a key aspect of the role.
