Broadcast Production Assistant Internship

About the role

The Broadcast Production Assistant Intern will support the production team in various aspects of audio and video editing, programming, and post-production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the editing and post-production of broadcast content
• Help with the planning and execution of broadcast programs
• Support the team in maintaining and updating the station’s digital assets
• Collaborate with producers and directors to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university with a major in broadcasting, journalism, or related field
• Strong interest in broadcast media and technology
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with video editing software is a plus
• Interest in radio and television production
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
