About the role
We are seeking a Broadband Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing voice and data services for both residential and commercial customers using cutting-edge fiber-optic technology.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot voice and data services, using the latest test equipment and following safety and installation guidelines.
- Maintain vehicle inventory and ensure safety compliance.
- Handle physical tasks such as climbing, digging, and drilling, while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide timely, detailed paperwork and feedback to help improve our services.
- Stay updated on industry trends through continuous training and development.
- Participate in on-call and shift work as required.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent (advantageous if in IT, electronics, or a related field).
- A customer-first approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.
- Physical ability to bend, climb, sit, and lift over 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.
