About The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Broadband Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll install, troubleshoot, and repair Internet and telephone services for residential and commercial customers using cutting-edge fiber-optic technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot voice and data services using the latest test equipment and following safety and installation guidelines.
- Maintain vehicle inventory and safety compliance.
- Perform physical tasks such as climbing, digging, and drilling while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide timely, detailed paperwork and feedback to improve services.
- Stay ahead of industry trends through continuous training and development.
- Participate in on-call and shift work as required.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma (advanced education in IT, electronics, or a related field is a plus).
- Customer-first approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.
- Physical ability to bend, climb, sit, and lift over 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.
