Broadband Plant Foreman (Construction / Maintenance)

About the role

Bartlett Electric Cooperative is seeking an experienced Broadband Plant Foreman to lead field crews in the safe construction, maintenance, and operation of our fiber optic network.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and supervise broadband construction and/or maintenance crews
• Ensure strict compliance with safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations
• Coordinate daily work assignments and prioritize projects
• Participate in fiber installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and restoration activities
• Communicate with customers, property owners, and internal teams professionally
• Respond to outages and participate in on-call rotation as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class A CDL
• Extensive experience in fiber optic construction, maintenance, and supervision

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficient in fiber optic technology and safety protocols
