Broadband Plant Foreman

About the role

Broadband Plant Foreman (Construction / Splicing) is responsible for overseeing construction and splicing activities in broadband plant projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, and ability to manage teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure project timelines are met
• Manage team of technicians and installers to achieve project goals
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and improve efficiency
• Prepare and present project status reports to management

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications construction or related field
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience
• Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and installation techniques
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of relevant training programs in telecommunications
• First aid and CPR certification

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
