Overview

I Din Sociale Indgang Børn Amager, you will be part of a team of approximately 250 engaged employees who manage the social services for children and young people in the age range of 0-18 years in the Børn Amager area. We are committed to maintaining a high level of professional ambition and continuously developing our competencies, methods, and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Engage in various tasks and functions within the organization, including network consultants, school and daycare social advisors, psychologists, family counselors, and contact persons for multiple areas.
• Be based in the heart of the organization where all first-contact inquiries from citizens and partners are received. Handle approximately 5000 inquiries annually.
• Deal with varied and unpredictable daily tasks, ranging from providing relevant guidance to families to making immediate decisions when necessary.
• Participate in a motivated team that works together, thinks together, and collaborates effectively, even during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Education background as a social advisor/social mediator with knowledge of Barnets Lov.
• Experience working with child protection issues is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
• Ability to seek help when needed.
• A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, able to make requests and collaborate with families and partner organizations.
• Positive attitude towards helping families and being creative in problem-solving, even if not familiar with children, youth, and families.
• Ability to maintain a positive atmosphere and contribute positively to the team, department, and organization.

Pay and Schedule

The position offers a fixed-term contract starting October 1, 2026, on a full-time basis (37 hours per week). The salary is based on the agreement for social advisors, social mediators, and/or HK, as well as the local wage framework. Upon hiring, we request an expanded disciplinary record and a child protection record.
