About the role
XLAIRS is seeking fluent English speakers with a British English accent for a remote freelance voice recording project. Selected participants will record short, pre-written scripts in English. The recordings may involve different speaking styles, tones, and emotions based on project guidelines. This language data will be used to support the development and improvement of AI and language technologies. This opportunity focuses on voice recording and data collection; it does not involve transcription or translation.
Responsibilities
- Record pre-written scripts clearly in English using a British English accent
- Follow instructions related to tone, emotion, and speaking style
- Complete recording tasks according to project guidelines
- Maintain good audio quality while recording in a quiet environment
- Meet project timelines and quality requirements
Qualifications
- Strong spoken fluency in English with a clear and consistent British English accent
- Good English reading and communication skills
- Ability to read scripts accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Access to a quiet recording environment and a reliable internet connection
- Previous experience in voice recording, language projects, data collection, or AI-related projects is a plus, but not required

Pay
USD $10–$12 per hour. Final compensation may depend on project requirements, experience, and successful completion of project requirements.
