About the role

Visiting Angels is looking for dedicated Caregivers in Philadelphia and surrounding areas to provide quality, non-medical care and companionship to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities

• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Meal preparation and medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Supporting daily routines and independence
• Observing client well-being and communicating important changes to the office
• Other approved non-medical home care services

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or home care professional preferred
• At least 2 years of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• Dementia /ALZ care experience is a plus
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
• Driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
• Completed or ability to have a QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus (QFT-Plus) or 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate attitude
• Ability to pass a background check
• Authorised to work in the United States
