Caregiver Responsibilities

As a caregiver with Visiting Angels Philadelphia, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical home care services that help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Preparing nutritious meals
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Grocery shopping and other errands
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Supporting clients with daily routines
• Documenting care provided and communicating with the care team

What We're Looking For

We're searching for dependable, compassionate individuals who genuinely enjoy caring for others. Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, HHA, or personal care experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Professional, reliable, and compassionate attitude
