AHL HealthCare Group, Inc. is the parent company of BRIDGES To Success (BTS), which provides services to adults with disabilities in community settings throughout Minnesota. Since 2010, BRIDGES To Success has focused on building relationships and independence through determination, guidance, and educated supports.

Position Overview

The BRIDGES Counselor Level 2 will work 1:1 with an adult resident who has a traumatic brain injury (TBI). The role combines awake and sleep shifts, with sleep hours from 12:00 am to 6:00 am paid at the minimum wage rate. The position is part‑time, two days per week, from 8:00 pm to 8:15 am, with possible cross‑training shifts at other locations after hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Light cleaning duties
• Maintain an extremely quiet atmosphere between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am
• Morning preparation: get resident ready for work, pack lunches, make breakfast, perform morning cleaning, etc.
• Daily documentation of symptomatic behaviors, activities, meals, household tasks, sleep disturbances, medication administration, and personal goals
• Lock the residence and wait with the resident until they are picked up for work

Requirements and Preferences

• Strong history working with individuals with disabilities (TBI, dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory care preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
• 1:1 direct‑care experience with hallucinations or delusions and familiarity with TBI‑related symptoms (strongly preferred)
• Ability to pass and maintain a clean Minnesota background study; must be able to pass a MN DHS background check

Compensation

• Awake hours: $20.00 per hour
• Sleep hours: $11.47 per hour
