Bridge Project Engineer

About the role

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to join our Bridge Team in Buffalo, NY; Rochester, NY; Syracuse, NY; or Albany, NY. The role involves providing advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex bridge designs, mentoring junior engineers, and leading impactful projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex bridge designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines and project management staff
• Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure
• Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions
• Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
• Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
• Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
