Bridge Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews performing bridge construction and structural work
• Cook and interpret GDOT plans, structural drawings, and specifications
• Oversee forming, rebar placement, concrete pours, and finishing
• Ensure compliance with GDOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Conduct daily safety meetings (JHAs / Toolbox Talks)
• Direct subcontractors and ensure alignment with project scope
• Maintain daily reports, quantities, and crew timekeeping
• Coordinate inspections and ensure quality standards are met
• Train and mentor crew members
• Operate equipment and perform hands-on work as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• A high school diploma or GED
• 3-7+ years of heavy civil construction experience (bridge focus)
• Experience with bridge construction and structural concrete
• Knowledge of GDOT specifications and standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
